    Serious question, Alison -- I would never expect to see Loretta Swit at a Comic Con. Was she there promoting something or selling something?

    I have not deducted cool points from you for attending....it was kind of like the first time Joe entered a strip club....I realize sometimes, our curiosity takes over. For Joe it was the opposite sex, for you it was nerds.

    The look on your face when that guy would not take a photo with you is priceless!

    Is it really possible to embarrass yourself at a comic book convention? I thought they were a celebration of awkwardness. And what's with the "con" thing? "I'm going to the con, man." Do you think they had a meeting of the committee on coolness and decided, "Yes! When we start calling it a "con", they'll never call us nerds again!" It's a damn geeky convention. Have some courage for God's sake, and just call it what it is.

    But the day wasn't a total loss. You managed to find a guy with no detectable sense of humor at all. It made for a great video moment. No wonder there are those of us who believe that not recognizing Alison Rosen should be a crime punishable by death.
